About the Role G3 Aerospace is seeking a hands‑on, detail‑oriented Manufacturing Technician to support the assembly, finishing, bonding, and rework of aircraft interior components and related manufactured parts. This role is ideal for someone who is highly skilled with their hands, works carefully, follows instructions well, and takes pride in producing clean, accurate, high‑quality work. This position involves detailed manual work, including part preparation, masking and taping for bonding operations, precision drilling, final assembly, finishing, and rework. The right candidate will have a steady hand, strong attention to detail, and the ability to perform careful, repeatable work on parts where appearance, fit, and workmanship matter. Key Responsibilities Assemble manufactured parts and subassemblies in accordance with work instructions, drawings, and quality requirements Prepare parts for bonding by cleaning, aligning, fitting, masking, and taping surfaces as required Apply bonding liquids and adhesives carefully and accurately to ensure proper bonding without damaging surrounding surfaces Perform plastic bonding and related assembly operations with a high degree of care and consistency Drill precision holes using hand drills and other hand tools while maintaining positional accuracy and workmanship standards Finish parts through trimming, sanding, deburring, cleaning, and detail touch‑up work Rework parts as needed to correct defects, improve fit, or bring parts into acceptable condition Inspect parts throughout the process for visual quality, workmanship, alignment, and fit Handle parts carefully to avoid cosmetic or dimensional damage Follow written instructions, process steps, and supervisor direction closely Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area Communicate part, tooling, or process issues to supervisors and quality personnel in a timely manner Qualifications Strong mechanical aptitude and good manual dexterity Ability to perform detailed hand work with a steady hand and a high level of accuracy Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing quality work Ability to follow written instructions, drawings, and standard work procedures Experience using hand tools, including hand drills, with good control and accuracy Ability to perform repetitive, detail‑focused work while maintaining consistency Ability to identify defects, workmanship issues, and areas requiring rework Reliable, careful, and able to work both independently and as part of a team Preferred Experience Experience in manufacturing, assembly, finishing, bonding, rework, or similar hands‑on production work Experience working with plastic, composite, or precision‑fabricated parts Experience in aerospace, light manufacturing, cabinetry, model‑making, automotive trim, composites, or other detailed assembly environments is a plus Familiarity with close‑tolerance work, cosmetic quality standards, and detail finishing is preferred Ideal Candidate The ideal candidate for this role is someone who: Is very good with their hands Has a steady hand and works carefully Is patient, precise, and highly detail‑oriented Takes pride in neat, accurate workmanship Can be trusted to perform detailed bonding, drilling, and finishing work correctly Understands that small mistakes in masking, drilling, or bonding can affect part quality Works well in a manufacturing environment where consistency and quality matter Physical Requirements Ability to stand for extended periods Ability to use hands continuously for assembly, taping, bonding, finishing, and drilling tasks Ability to lift and move parts and materials as neededGood close‑up vision and attention to fine detail Benefits & Compensation Competitive hourly pay based on experience Health benefits package Paid holidays and paid time off Profit‑sharing bonuses Opportunities for skill development and advancement #J-18808-Ljbffr
