AI Lead Opportunity

Our client is a prominent, globally recognized professional organization that are investing heavily in AI and building out a dedicated engineering function to lead that effort internally. This is a rare opportunity to own something meaningful at the intersection of enterprise software and applied AI.

The Role

This AI lead will work with a high performing team of engineers focused on the design and development of full stack Machine Learning and Generative AI applications. This leader will drive the end to end delivery of AI powered workflows that modernize and optimize core business processes across the organization.

This is both a hands on technical leadership role and a strategic one. You will partner directly with senior leadership on project planning, prioritization, and roadmap execution.

Requirements

• Proven experience managing or supervising a software engineering team
• Strong Python development background with production grade application delivery
• Hands on experience building or deploying ML or GenAI systems
• Ability to translate ambiguous business problems into structured technical solutions
• Comfortable owning project planning, prioritization, and stakeholder communication

Plusses

• Experience with LLM frameworks such as LangChain, LlamaIndex, or similar
• Familiarity with workflow orchestration tools (Airflow, Prefect, or equivalent)
• Background in process automation or enterprise workflow modernization
• Exposure to vector databases, RAG architectures, or fine tuning pipelines
• Experience working in highly structured or regulated environments where precision and documentation standards are elevated
