Quality Engineer

About the Role We are looking for an experienced Quality Engineer to serve as the liaison between our company and customers on technical and quality issues. The role focuses on driving manufacturing quality improvements using 8D corrective action methodology, supporting our ISO 9001:2015 Quality Management System, and keeping production running at the highest standards. Responsibilities Develop and implement quality standards; monitor and analyze quality performance. Investigate product/production issues and drive corrective actions using 8D methodology. Perform and participate in internal audits; maintain QMS procedures, records, and calibration schedules. Provide IPC training and refereeing to production teams. Collaborate with colleagues, suppliers, customers, and management on continuous improvement initiatives. Support safety committee activities and manage non‑conforming materials. Qualifications 3+ years of industrial experience, preferably in high‑volume manufacturing or automation. Working knowledge of ISO 9001:2015, IPC 600, IPC 610, J‑STD‑001. Experience with 8D corrective action methodology. Data‑driven mindset with ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. Bachelor’s degree in a science or technical field (or equivalent). Requirements US citizenship or lawful permanent residency required (ITAR registered facility). On‑site Monday‑Friday, 8 am‑5 pm in Camarillo, CA.
