Summary: • Ref #: M-RN-296828 • Profession: Registered Nurse • Specialty: Cardiac Surgery • Job Type: Contract/Travel • Start Date: ASAP • Location: Corvallis, OR • Rate: $2,704/40-hours Requirements: • Active RN license • Graduate of accredited nursing program • BLS required; ACLS preferred • Previous cardiac surgery, ICU, or cardiac care experience preferred • Strong critical thinking and cardiac assessment skills • Ability to work in a high-acuity environment Responsibilities: • Provide nursing care to patients undergoing cardiac surgery • Perform pre- and post-operative assessments and monitoring • Administer medications, IV therapy, and treatments as ordered • Monitor cardiac rhythms, hemodynamics, and surgical sites • Manage chest tubes, drains, and wound care • Collaborate with cardiac surgeons and interdisciplinary team • Educate patients and families on recovery and post-surgical care • Document care and patient response in the EMR
