Opportunity Overview

We have an immediate opening for a Patient Services Specialist to join our team at Reproductive Science Center of the San Francisco Bay Area and float to offices in San Ramon, Menlo Park, and Los Gatos, California.

• Schedule: Tuesday through Friday, 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM, Saturday 6:30 AM to 3:00 PM, and 2 to 3 holidays per year
• Compensation: $24 to $27 per hour (commensurate with experience)

In this role, the Patient Services Specialist will:

• Welcome patients and visitors to the office
• Answer and assist all incoming telephone calls
• Schedule appointments using a computerized scheduling system and conducting follow-up calls when necessary
• Provide timely and accurate information and quality customer service to incoming patient inquiries
• Maintain patient accounts by obtaining, recording, and updating personal, financial, and insurance information

What You'll Bring

Qualifications and Skills Include:

• High school diploma; Associates degree or Business School diploma
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a customer service-related position
• Knowledge of office procedure and office machines (i.e. computer, fax, copier, etc.)
• Basic computer proficiency with Microsoft Office suite
• Ability to communicate accurately and concisely
• Excellent interpersonal skills
• Strong attention to detail
• Ability to organize and manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in an ever-changing environment
