Registered Nurse - Wound Care

Job Summary:

Seeking a skilled Registered Nurse for wound care specialized in both acute and chronic wounds. This role involves providing comprehensive wound, ostomy, and continence care within a physician-driven environment, incorporating adjunctive therapies such as vein and hyperbaric medicine.

Responsibilities:

• Assess and monitor patients with complex wounds to develop individualized treatment plans.
• Administer and coordinate wound care therapies, including hyperbaric treatments and vein medicine.
• Educate patients and families on wound management and prevention strategies.
• Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Document clinical findings and treatment progress accurately and promptly.
• Maintain compliance with all healthcare regulations and facility protocols.

Qualifications:

• Hold an unencumbered Oregon RN license.
• Verify current Healthcare Provider Level BLS certification.
• Possess a BSN degree (preferred).
• Hold relevant certification in Wound Care (preferred).
• Demonstrate at least 6 months of wound care experience, preferably in an acute care setting.
• Prefer prior experience in wound, vein, and hyperbaric medicine.
