The Manufacturing Data Protection - Operational & Governance Specialist supports the day-to-day execution of key manufacturing data-protection controls. This role is accountable for facilitating safe, timely approvals and maintaining clear governance evidence across:

• External account and elevated rights approvals and governance

• Monitoring of events from GM's data-loss-prevention tools, including exception handling and incident support

• Plant data-sharing processing and supporting due-diligence activities with suppliers and partners

• Governance assessments and risk mitigations associated with manufacturing information sources

You will help keep production moving while maintaining traceable, policy-aligned decisions. You will collaborate closely with the Manufacturing Information & Protection lead, architecture and enablement leads, as well as stakeholders in Manufacturing Engineering, Cybersecurity, IT, Purchasing, and plant teams.
