Express Service Advisor – Hyundai
Overview
Our Hyundai dealership is seeking a motivated, customer‑focused Express Service Advisor to join our already stellar service team! In this role, you will be the primary point of contact for customers, ensuring a smooth, transparent, and positive service experience. Your ability to communicate clearly, build trust, and manage service flow will directly contribute to customer satisfaction and long‑term loyalty.
Key Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly, listen actively, and accurately assess their service needs.
- Provide clear explanations of recommended and required maintenance, repairs, and tire services.
- Identify and communicate additional services based on vehicle condition, mileage, condition, and manufacturer requirements
- Create and transmit repair orders to technicians, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
- Maintain consistent updates regarding repair status, timelines, and costs.
- Process payments accurately while following dealership cash‑handling procedures.
- Achieve and maintain customer satisfaction scores above the national average.
- Maintain a clean, professional, and customer‑ready service environment.
Qualifications
- Previous experience as an Automotive Service Advisor or in a customer‑facing automotive role preferred.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build rapport quickly.
- Familiarity with upselling techniques and value‑based service recommendations.
- Experience collaborating with technicians to ensure efficient workflow from intake to delivery.
- Proficiency with Reynolds and/or Autoloop is a significant plus.
Schedule & Work Environment
- Job Type: Full‑time
- Shift: Day shift
- Workdays: Tuesday–Saturday
- Location: Seattle, WA 98133 (must be able to reliably commute)
