This opportunity calls for a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to provide essential behavioral support services within a school environment in Ocean Springs, MS. As an RBT, you will work closely with students to implement behavior intervention plans, promote positive behavior, and support individualized educational goals. This is a contract position ideal for professionals who are passionate about making a difference in educational settings.
Key Responsibilities:
- Implement behavior intervention plans under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA)
- Collect and document data on student progress and behaviors
- Collaborate with educators, families, and clinical teams to support student needs
- Utilize applied behavior analysis techniques to increase positive behaviors and decrease challenging behaviors
- Maintain confidentiality and adhere to ethical standards and protocols
- Valid Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification
- Experience working in school settings with children on the autism spectrum or with developmental disabilities preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to follow treatment plans and take direction effectively
- Commitment to ongoing professional development and adherence to ethical standards
Location: Ocean Springs, Mississippi
