Structural Welder | FCAW | Structural SteelWe're hiring experienced welders to work on large structural steel projects including tanks, bridges, and pressure vessels in a busy industrial fabrication shop.What You'll Be Doing:FCAW welding using 1/16 wireWelding heavy structural steelWorking to AWS/D1 welding standardsAir arc back gougingReading drawings, weld symbols, and specificationsGrinding, prepping, and finishing weldsInspecting your work and correcting weld defects as neededWhat We're Looking For:Structural or heavy fabrication welding experienceStrong FCAW/Flux Core welding skillsAir arc back gouging experienceExperience with AWS/D1 standardsExperience welding tanks, bridges, pressure vessels, or similar heavy structures is a major plusComfortable working in a hot, dusty, open-air fabrication shopReliable and willing to work overtimeSchedule: Typically 6:00 AM to 4:30 PMHours: Approximately 48-56 hours per week depending on workload, with 8-12 hour shiftsJob Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Gibsonton, FL.Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $30.00/hr.Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
