Pediatric Echocardiography Technologist Requirements

• At least 2 years of Echo Technologist experience
• Demonstrated experience performing pediatric echocardiography examinations
• Ultrasound Technologist qualification
• ARDMS verification
• Current BLS certification
• Seasonal influenza vaccination is required before the start date; exemptions and declinations are not accepted
• Must successfully complete the required fit test
• Must meet the assignment’s nicotine screening requirement

Pediatric Echo Technologist Responsibilities

• Perform pediatric echocardiographic examinations according to established clinical protocols
• Obtain high-quality diagnostic ultrasound images while prioritizing patient comfort and safety
• Work effectively with pediatric patients, families, physicians, nurses, and the broader care team
• Prepare and maintain echocardiography and ultrasound equipment and ensure accurate documentation of examinations
• Adapt to a fast-paced, team-based hospital environment while maintaining professional standards
• Support timely and compassionate care for patients throughout the pediatric echocardiography process
