CT Technologist

Position Summary Performs routine CT imaging examinations, both scheduled and emergency, ensuring adherence to departmental quality control and data integrity standards. Responsibilities Conducts CT imaging procedures, reviewing requisitions to ensure appropriateness based on diagnosis and clinical signs. Identifies patients using two identifiers according to hospital policy. Performs basic imaging analysis, including 3D imaging. Selects suitable equipment and technical settings to distinguish normal and pathological anatomy. Assesses patients' physical and emotional status, adjusting procedures to meet their needs. Explains examinations, answers questions regarding radiation exposure, and practices ALARA principles. Provides exceptional patient care and service, maintains departmental workflows, and reports equipment issues. Participates in departmental meetings, completes documentation accurately, and adheres to HIPAA and ETU regulations. Supports a supportive environment for patients and families, practicing high reliability training and core hospital values. Qualifications Associates degree in Allied Health (Bachelors preferred). At least 1 year of radiologic technologist experience. AR/RT registered by ARRT, with current BLS certification. #J-18808-Ljbffr
