Quality Assurance Lead

Our client, a leading communications provider, is seeking a QA Lead to own test strategy, execution, and defect management. This person will ensure testing is planned early and coverage protects critical use cases. This position is a 6–12-month contract to start, onsite 4 days a week in Maryland Heights, MO, or Greenwood Village, CO. This position is W-2 only. We are open to working with third-party firms or C2C arrangements for this role. Core Responsibilities Automating new manual test scripts stored in the Octane test case management tool Updating and rewriting existing automation scripts to support new functionality or improve resilience against technical execution failures Executing automation batches for out-of-cycle testing requests as needed Troubleshooting automation failures, performing necessary repairs or refactoring to ensure successful execution Clearly communicating progress, risks, and any blockers Proactively seeking assistance when encountering obstacles Required Skills/Experience (Must-Haves) Requires managing both manual and automation testing aspects JIRA Postman
