Location: 40 Liberty Boulevard Malvern, PA 19355 Position Title: Customer Service Engineer Salary: 106,163 -116,530 / year Hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00 am to 5pm Summary of Duties: A field-based, customer-facing role that primarily installs, services, and maintains Siemens’ medical imaging equipment at customer sites. The "Face of Siemens" to the customer. Support the AT & XP Modality, with potential to cross train into other modalities in the future. Flexible and willing to work different shifts and On-Call rotations as business needs dictate, including willingness to work overtime as required. Report to the Regional Service Manager at Siemens Healthineers. Remote work permitted. Travel to Client sites in the Southern California areas on a daily basis. Occasional travel to other cities in the US as well as international / travel for additional training as required. Qualifications: The position requires five (5) years of experience in the job offered or as a Field Service Technician, Electronics Technician, or an acceptable alternate occupation. Position requires experience with the following skills: Advanced knowledge of electronics, mechanical systems, and computer networking. Strong understanding of X-ray generation, image processing, image quality, human anatomy, and radiation safety principles. Skilled in troubleshooting complex electromechanical and software issues. Experience performing preventive maintenance and ensuring all systems meet Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) specifications. Experience interpreting schematics, managing firmware updates, and integrating systems within hospital IT environments. Experience with OEM technical training, radiation safety certification, and a working knowledge of industry standards including FDA regulations and ISO 13485 compliance.
