Social Services Director Requirements Degree in social work Minimum of one year experience in long-term care, skilled nursing, mental health, healthcare, or human services. Strong communication, documentation, and resident support skills. Ability to work collaboratively with nurses, psychologists, psychiatrists, and healthcare professionals. Maintain accurate documentation of patient condition, behavior, eating habits, and daily activities. Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams including nurses, psychologists, and psychiatrists. Interview residents upon admission and complete assessments and documentation.
