In addition to delivering guests’ orders, they will assist servers in responding to the requests of our guests. The main responsibility of this position is to deliver food to guests in a friendly, professional and knowledgeable manner. Basic Functions Of a Food Runner Deliver food to guests quickly and efficiently. Deliver condiments and drinks as needed (to include alcoholic beverages). Refill beverages as needed. Respond to guest inquiries in a courteous and polite manner. Promptly and professionally handle guest issues and communicate problems and concerns to management. Maintain a clean and organized server alley and expo area. Stock ice and glassware on the server line. Pre-buss tables. Clean and reset dirty tables. Sweep the floor. Assist and communicate clearly with the kitchen staff and front of the house staff.
