Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a Medical Surgical setting, including patients requiring orthopedic care
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care plans
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to ensure safe and effective patient outcomes
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation utilizing electronic health record systems
• Adhere to facility dress code requirements (navy scrubs)

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Arizona, verified within the last 30 days — no disciplinary actions or hits on license
• Minimum of 24 months of Med/Surg experience, with experience within the last 12 months
• Active BLS certification from an approved vendor (AHA, ARC, or ASHI) required
• All life support certifications must be issued by AHA, ARC, or ASHI
• Med/Surg skills checklist completed within the last 12 months
• Must reside outside of Arizona — Arizona residents are not eligible for this assignment

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior travel nursing experience highly preferred
• Experience working in orthopedic patient populations
• Familiarity with electronic health record systems and smart room technology
