Astor Club is seeking a passionate, ambitious Prep Cook to join our culinary team.
This is an opportunity to work in a kitchen focused on craftsmanship, technique, and ingredient-driven cooking. We are looking for someone who wants to develop their skills in butchery, fish fabrication, pasta production, baking, stock making, and fine dining preparation while working alongside a team committed to excellence.
What You'll DoFabricate whole fish and premium proteins
Learn and execute meat and poultry butchery
Produce stocks, sauces, broths, and foundational preparations from scratch
Make fresh pasta, doughs, and baked goods
Prepare vegetables, garnishes, and mise en place to exacting standards
Assist with tasting menus, private events, and club dining operations
Work with high-quality seasonal ingredients
Maintain a clean, organized, and professional workstation
A strong work ethic and positive attitude
Curiosity and a desire to learn
Respect for ingredients and attention to detail
Professional kitchen experience preferred
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
A commitment to consistency and continuous improvement
Guaranteed 35 hours per week
