Outpatient Physical Therapist

Job Description

The Outpatient Physical Therapist is responsible for evaluating assigned patients and developing, implementing, and modifying treatment plans in accordance with patients' needs, goals, and physician direction. The role entails delegating and directing all discipline-specific therapy services for those patients and ensuring the design of functional treatment programs to facilitate effective return to community activities. Additionally, the therapist serves as an educator to patients, families, students, and coworkers while upholding the organization's Mission Statement and Core Values.

Responsibilities

• Complete comprehensive evaluations of assigned patients.
• Utilize clinical reasoning to develop treatment plans and goals.
• Document care in a clear, concise, accurate, and timely manner, adhering to state and federal guidelines.
• Provide therapy services under valid physician orders and ensure compliance with insurance approval.
• Participate in student programs, providing mentorship and supervision.
• Develop individualized professional growth plans in collaboration with clinical management.
• Maintain professional licensure and adhere to discipline-specific practice acts and regulations.
• Engage in performance improvement initiatives to enhance service quality.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Degree in Physical Therapy from an Accredited School.
• Minimum of 1 year of outpatient clinical experience.
• CPR Certification.
• Active Physical Therapy license for the state where work will be performed.

Schedule

This position offers a 5x8 schedule with an anticipated start in mid-July.
