Position Summary

This team member serves as both a chairside dental assistant and front office coordinator, helping create an outstanding experience for every patient from their first phone call through treatment completion.

The ideal candidate is organized, positive, flexible, and able to prioritize changing responsibilities throughout the day. No two days are exactly alike, and success comes from being a team player who enjoys helping wherever needed.

Chairside Responsibilities

• Prepare treatment rooms before each patient
• Assist the doctor during restorative, cosmetic, and surgical procedures
• Take digital radiographs and intraoral photographs
• Perform scanning for digital impressions
• Sterilize and maintain instruments according to OSHA and CDC guidelines
• Educate patients before and after treatment
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation
• Monitor inventory and clinical supplies
• Help maintain a clean, organized, efficient clinical environment

Front Office Responsibilities

• Welcome patients with professionalism and warmth
• Answer phones and schedule appointments
• Confirm upcoming appointments
• Verify insurance benefits and assist with treatment estimates
• Collect payments and process financial transactions
• Coordinate referrals and records
• Assist with recall and unscheduled treatment follow-up
• Help keep the daily schedule running smoothly
