Job Description Federal Tax Experienced Associate – Deliver industry‑focused tax advisory and compliance services to middle‑market clients, becoming an expert in a specific industry sector. Responsibilities Provide federal tax compliance and advisory services to S‑corporations, partnerships, individuals and corporations ranging from middle market to multinational companies. Participate in tax research projects on a variety of tax issues, help to draft IRS responses and address other tax authority inquiries. Team with leaders on special projects in corporate and flow‑through taxation such as accounting methods and ASC740. Develop recommendations for clients, discuss and strategize with leadership. Communicate and collaborate with specialty tax practices on complicated tax matters, including state and local, high‑net‑worth, international, research and development, along with credits and incentives. Learn and grow through direct on‑the‑job coaching, mentoring and firm‑wide learning and development programs. Utilize entrepreneurial skills to network and build strong relationships internally and externally with clients. Minimum Qualifications One year of experience. 4‑year degree. License eligible. Preferred Qualifications Bachelor's degree in accounting, law, or related business field with sufficient coursework to sit for the CPA and/or Bar exam in the state considered. CPA or JD license preferred. One or more years of experience providing federal tax compliance and consulting services in a public accounting firm. Strong skills in time management, communication, interpersonal skills, relationship building, collaboration, problem solving, leadership, project management, organization, and analytical skills. Microsoft Office proficiency. Additional Information No immigration sponsorship is available for this position. Pay range: $67,030.00 to $87,980.00.
