Job Summary:
This Operating Room (OR) Registered Nurse (RN) position is located in Helena, Montana. The role involves providing specialized perioperative care within a busy surgical environment, primarily focusing on orthopedic procedures such as total joints, fractures of ankle and hip, gynecology, robotic surgeries, urology, general, ear, nose, and throat (ENT), spine, and other surgical specialties. Candidates are required to bring their nursing license on the first day of assignment.

Job Details:

• Schedule: 10-Hour days, with 2-3 twelve-hour call shifts in a six-week period.
• Required Qualifications: BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certifications are required. PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) is preferred. Candidates must be competent in all the procedures and skills listed, with a minimum of 2+ years of operating room experience. Prior travel experience and orthopedic experience are also required.
• Preferred Qualifications: PALS certification and first assist RNFA (Registered Nurse First Assistant) experience are preferred.
• Additional Information: The role involves a diverse surgical caseload including orthopedic, gynecology, robotic, urology, general, ENT, and spine surgeries. The candidate must be proficient in all the areas listed. No block scheduling will be accommodated. Candidates must comply with a 200-mile radius rule.
