Nutritionist | Pet Food Manufacturing


gpac is partnered with a growing manufacturer seeking a Nutritionist to join their team in the greater Northern Indiana region.


This is an excellent opportunity for someone who has already built a foundation within animal nutrition, feed, pet food, or related manufacturing environments and is looking to continue growing their career with a stable and expanding organization.


This is not an entry-level opportunity. We are seeking candidates who have already spent several years working within nutrition, formulation, ingredient analysis, or product development and can contribute from day one.

What You'll Be Doing

• Support pet food formulation and nutritional analysis activities
  
  
• Evaluate ingredients and raw material specifications
  
  
• Partner with Quality, Production, and Procurement teams
  
  
• Assist with product development and formulation improvements
  
  
• Conduct nutritional research and monitor industry trends
  
  
• Ensure compliance with nutritional standards and regulatory requirements
  
  
• Maintain formulation records, documentation, and technical reports
  
  
• Participate in product evaluations and continuous improvement initiatives
  
  

What We're Looking For

• Bachelor's degree in Animal Nutrition, Animal Science, Food Science, or related field. Masters a PLUS
  
  
• 3+ years of experience in a Nutritionist, Formulation, Product Development, or related role
  
  
• Understanding of animal nutrition and feed formulation principles
  
  
• Experience within pet food, feed, food manufacturing, or related industries preferred
  
  
• Knowledge of AAFCO guidelines and nutritional compliance standards is a plus
  
  
• Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills
  
  

Compensation

• Competitive compensation package targeted within the $75,000-$85,000 range DOE
