Personal Care Assistant
University Home Care Inc is seeking compassionate and dedicated Personal Care Assistants to join our team in Ida, MI. As a Personal Care Assistant, you will provide essential support to individuals in their homes, helping them with daily living activities to enhance their quality of life and maintain their independence.
Responsibilities
- Assist clients with personal care tasks such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
- Help with mobility and transferring clients safely
- Support clients with meal preparation and feeding as needed
- Provide companionship and emotional support
- Assist with light housekeeping duties related to client care
- Monitor clients' conditions and report any changes to healthcare professionals or family members
- Maintain client confidentiality and comply with company policies and procedures
Requirements
- Prior experience in personal care or a related field is a plus
- Compassionate, patient, and dependable
- Ability to communicate effectively with clients and team members
- Reliable transportation to and from client locations in Ida, MI
- Ability to pass background checks
