Model-Based Systems Engineer For Nuclear Command, Control And Communications (Nc3) Requires a Bachelor's degree in Systems Engineering, or a related Science, Engineering, Technology or Mathematics field. Also requires 5+ years of job-related experience, or a Master's degree plus 3 years of job-related experience. Agile experience preferred. CLEARANCE REQUIREMENTS: Department of Defense Secret security clearance is required at time of hire. Responsibilities For This Position ROLE AND POSITION OBJECTIVES: As a Model-Based Systems Engineer for Nuclear Command, Control and Communications (NC3), you'll be a member of a cross-functional team responsible for designing and maintaining operational, functional, and physical system architectures using MBSE methodologies and frameworks for our strategic deterrent systems. What Sets You Apart: Experience in Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE), including direct hands-on experience with industry-leading MBSE tools such as Cameo Systems Modeler Demonstrated ability to develop and maintain SysML models, including behavioral, structural, and requirements diagrams Experience applying MBSE to architect complex systems, including functional decomposition, interface definition, and trade study analysis Clear understanding of systems engineering concepts, principles, theories, and technical standards with an MBSE-first mindset Proficiency in requirements management tools (e.g., DOORS, DOORS Next Generation) and their integration with system models Experience working within DoDAF or similar architecture frameworks to support digital engineering initiatives Creative thinker who can leverage MBSE models to quickly communicate complex system designs and handle increasing responsibilities with growing complexity Team player who thrives in collaborative environments and champions MBSE adoption across cross-functional teams Commitment to ongoing professional development, particularly in advancing MBSE practices and digital engineering capabilities Identifies opportunities to apply MBSE and AI-driven approaches for continuous improvement and innovation Our Commitment To You: An exciting career path with opportunities for continuous learning and development.
