About This Role

Do you believe every child has a story to tell, a masterpiece to create, or a stage on which to shine? Peachtree Academy is seeking an energetic and imaginative Fine Arts & Drama Teacher to cultivate creativity, confidence, and artistic expression in students from elementary through high school. This is more than a teaching position—it is an opportunity to build a vibrant arts program, direct performances, inspire young artists, and help students discover their God-given talents in our brand new performing. The position is part time.

Develop and implement a comprehensive fine arts curriculum that includes visual and/or performing arts

Engage students through interactive, hands-on lessons that promote creativity and critical thinking

Demonstrate strong classroom management and maintain a positive, respectful learning environment

Communicate effectively with students, parents, and colleagues through both written and verbal means

Coordinate and lead school-wide fine arts events and programs throughout the academic year (e.g., art shows, performances, exhibitions)

Encourage student participation and cultivate interest in extracurricular fine arts activities

Collaborate with other faculty to support interdisciplinary learning and school-wide initiatives

Bachelor's degree in Fine Arts, Art Education, Performing Arts, or a related field

Prior teaching experience in fine arts, preferably in a school setting

Excellent communication, organization, and interpersonal skills

Proven ability to manage a classroom effectively and maintain student engagement

Passion for the arts and a desire to share that passion with young learners

About Peachtree Prep, our Early Childhood Division

The early childhood division of the school bases its academic program on a weekly unit of study for academic advancement. Teachers use lesson plans to guide the delivery of information and address individual issues of advanced skill levels or areas of improvement that are needed. Parents may supplement the curriculum by bringing in books, materials, or ideas related to the theme for the benefit of the class.
