Recruiting Specialist

Position Summary The Recruiting Specialist is responsible for various recruiting and social media management functions. This includes a variety of responsibilities such as: administrative functions, HR functions, recruiting, and social media account management. Essential Duties and Responsibilities The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following: Respond to applicant inquires in-person, over the phone and via email. Process and review employment applications to evaluate qualifications and eligibility of applicants. Hire employees and process hiring-related paperwork. Select qualified job applicants or refer them to managers, making hiring recommendations when appropriate. Generate, edit, publish, and share engaging content daily (e.g. original text, photos, videos, and news) Oversee social media accounts' design (e.g. Facebook timeline cover, profile pictures, and blog layout) Stay up-to-date with current technologies and trends in social media, design tools and applications Perform other duties as assigned. Minimum Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities) Bachelor's degree in business or related field preferred Ability to work independently with little supervision required. Ability to remain calm while working under pressure in a busy environment. Ability to work within the time frame of standard policies and procedures. Ability to maintain confidentiality related to sensitive company and employee information.
