DevOps Engineer

Salary: $120,000 - 130,000 per year Requirements:

• We require U.S. citizenship with no dual citizenship.
• We require an active Secret security clearance.
• We require a current Security+ certification, or an equivalent industry-recognized technical credential that satisfies DoD 8570 compliance.
• We prefer a bachelors degree in a related field, though an associate degree or relevant military training may be accepted in place of a degree.
• We require 7+ years of related DevOps experience building, developing, integrating, and scripting services and integrations.
• We require at least 3 recent years of professional Linux support experience in an enterprise DevOps environment using Ansible and Jenkins.
• We require experience integrating multiple CI/CD workflows such as Jenkins and GitLab CI across multi-tenant environments.
• We require hands-on knowledge of Linux hardening, STIGs, SRGs, and converting requirements into Ansible playbooks using YAML.
• We require experience deploying and troubleshooting Oracle EBS/SOA code in OCI, including plugin integration and middleware connectivity.
• We require experience with CI/CD tools and technologies such as FlexDeploy, Jenkins Groovy, Ansible Core, and GitLab CI/CD.
• We require enterprise Linux administration and troubleshooting experience, including patching with DNF and YUM.
• We require strong DNS and networking expertise, including packet capture and debugging.
• We require experience integrating automated testing and security scanning such as SAST/DAST into CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins, Bitbucket, Jira, and WebInspect.
• We require REST API experience for scripting, playbook integration, and automation support.
• We require experience configuring CI/CD agents on Linux servers to enable Jenkins-based automation.
• We require automation experience for checklist submissions and related GitOps workflows.
• We require strong scripting ability in more than one language, such as Python, Bash, Zsh, Ksh, or Csh.
• We require solid configuration management knowledge.
• We require experience configuring, automating, and deploying applications on virtual images in an OCI environment.
• We require the ability to produce detailed program documentation for production knowledge transfer.
• We require strong organizational skills, accurate estimation ability, and a track record of meeting deadlines.
• We require effective written and verbal communication skills in a blended government and contractor environment.
• We require the ability to balance individual assignments and team priorities while working collaboratively.

• We work as part of a collaborative team to build common services applications in Oracle Cloud Infrastructure for development, testing, and production environments.
• We support CI/CD architectures across multi-tenant cloud environments and connect separate pipeline workflows to maintain security and operational compliance.
• We handle build, development, integration, and scripting tasks for services and integrations, including Jenkins and FlexDeploy pipeline work.
• We deploy Oracle-based code centered on Oracle EBS and SOA.
• We use DNS, network troubleshooting, and packet capture to support RBAC and secure permission structures.
• We develop and test end-to-end CI/CD pipelines using Ansible-driven automation.
• We create and maintain detailed infrastructure and integration documentation.
• We provide Linux administration support between the DevOps and Operations teams, including web provisioning, OS provisioning, domain joining, storage, and system monitoring.
• We automate Linux and application-related processes using Jenkins, Ansible, and scripting tools.
• We manage Linux troubleshooting, logging, and auditing activities.
• We maintain Linux STIG/SRG compliance using IaC, CI/CD pipelines, and automated hardening tools.
• We orchestrate cross-tenancy deployment pipelines for Oracle middleware integration and centralized compliance auditing.
• We automate checklist submissions in line with CI/CD best practices and program expectations.
• We modify software to fix defects, adapt to new hardware, and improve performance.
• We analyze user needs and software requirements to assess technical feasibility within time and cost constraints.
• We store, retrieve, and manipulate data to evaluate system capabilities and requirements.
• We perform additional duties as assigned.
