The Surgical Services Equipment Technician is responsible for efficient and effective support as it pertains to equipment maintenance, facilitation of room turnovers and disbursement of supplies. This individual will act as the Surgery Department liaison with the Facilities Department. The Surgical Service Equipment Technician also performs basic patient care by assisting in the care, transferring to OR table/gurney, and transporting of surgical patients under the direction of the Registered Nurse. Required qualifications National Provider BLS – American Heart Association upon hire Job-related experience in a hospital. Preferred qualifications Coursework/Training: Graduate of a hospital based Nursing Assistant program 1 year of OR Technician, Anesthesia Technician or Central Supply. 1 year of Clinical experience as a Nursing Assistant. Pay & Benefits The amounts listed are the base pay range; additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, standby/on‑call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities. Pay Range: $24.84 - $31.38.
