Job Title: GMP Cleaning Technician

Location: Hillsboro, OR 97124
Employment Type: W2 Contract – 6 Months with Possibility for Extensions
Pay Rate: $21.00–$23.45/hour – Based on experience (Paid Weekly)
Work Model: 100% Onsite
Shift: 2nd Shift – Monday–Friday, 4:00 PM–12:30 AM (40 Hours per Week)

Role Overview

BEPC is seeking a detail-oriented GMP Cleaning Technician to support our client's pharmaceutical manufacturing facility in Hillsboro, OR.

This position focuses on cleaning and sanitizing GMP-controlled areas, maintaining facility cleanliness, following established safety procedures, and ensuring compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).

The ideal candidate has 1–2 years of experience cleaning GMP-controlled environments, strong attention to detail, and the ability to work independently during the evening shift.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform routine cleaning and sanitization of GMP-controlled manufacturing areas.
• Clean ceilings, walls, floors, drains, stainless steel surfaces, windows, and ledges.
• Sweep, mop, scrub, and maintain epoxy, concrete, rubber tile, and vinyl flooring.
• Vacuum and dust vents and other designated surfaces within GMP areas.
• Collect and dispose of non-biological waste and recyclable materials.
• Operate cleaning equipment, including floor scrubbers, scissor lifts, and manual pallet jacks, as authorized.
• Follow established GMP procedures, safety protocols, and regulatory requirements.
• Complete cleaning records and documentation using Good Documentation Practices (GDP).
• Use SAP to complete assigned training and execute work orders.
• Monitor and maintain inventory of GMP cleaning supplies.
• Coordinate daily assignments and cleaning schedules with supervisors.
• Prepare nightly activity reports and communicate operational updates.
• Identify and report equipment issues, quality concerns, and process deviations.
• Maintain clean, organized, and safe work areas.

Required Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• 1–2 years of experience cleaning GMP-controlled areas or facilities.
• Knowledge of GMP cleaning procedures and Good Documentation Practices (GDP).
• Ability to read, understand, and follow written procedures and safety instructions.
• Experience using floor scrubbers, scissor lifts, and manual pallet jacks.
• Basic computer skills and ability to complete accurate documentation.
• Ability to work safely around cleaning chemicals and industrial equipment.
• Strong attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and ability to identify cleaning or facility deficiencies.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to perform repetitive cleaning tasks with minimal supervision.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 25 pounds.
• Availability to work Monday–Friday, 4:00 PM–12:30 AM, onsite in Hillsboro, OR.
  

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience cleaning pharmaceutical, biotechnology, or other regulated manufacturing facilities.
• Familiarity with SAP work orders and training systems.
• Experience maintaining GMP cleaning supply inventories.
• Knowledge of controlled-area cleaning requirements and contamination prevention practices.
