JOB REQUIREMENTS AND DUTIES

Requirements 18 years of age or older Valid driver’s license with a safe driving record meeting company standards Access to an insured vehicle that can be used for delivery Good navigation skills: able to read a map and locate addresses within the designated delivery area, including multi‑story buildings and adverse terrain Responsibilities Deliver pizzas and related products within the designated area, making multiple deliveries per shift Deliver flyers and door hangers Operate all store equipment and maintain it daily Stock ingredients from delivery to storage areas and walk‑in cooler Prepare product and receive and process telephone orders Take inventory and complete associated paperwork Clean equipment and facility approximately daily Enter orders using a computer keyboard or touch screen Make correct monetary change and handle basic math accurately Communicate verbally with customers and co‑workers to process orders both over the phone and in person Navigate delivery vehicle through adverse terrain including multi‑story buildings and private homes while carrying product

TRAINING

Orientation and on‑the‑job training will be provided.

COMMUNICATION SKILLS

Ability to comprehend and give correct written instructions. Ability to communicate verbally with customers and co‑workers to process orders both over the phone and in person.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS/SCILLS

Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide accurately and quickly (calculator may be used). Must be able to make correct monetary change. Motor coordination between eyes and hands/fingers to rapidly and accurately make precise movements with speed. Ability to enter orders using a computer keyboard or touch screen. Navigational skills as above.

WORK CONDITIONS

Exposure to varying and sometimes adverse weather conditions, both inside and outside the store. Work area temperature ranges from 36°F in cooler to 90°F or higher in some work areas. Exposure to food odors, cornmeal dust, fumes, and hot surfaces/tools up to 500°F. Working in cramped quarters such as walk‑in cooler. Hot surfaces/tools and sharp edges from ovens and other equipment. Varying weather while delivering product and driving.

SENSING

Talking and hearing on telephone. Near and mid‑range vision for most in‑store tasks. Ability to differentiate between hot and cold surfaces. Far vision and night vision for driving.

TEMPERAMENTS

The ability to direct activities, perform repetitive tasks, work alone and with others, work under stress, meet strict quality control standards, deal with people, analyze and compile data, make judgments and decisions.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

Standing, walking, lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, climbing, bending, crouching/squatting, reaching, and driving are required. For example: Lifting: bulk deliveries up to 50 lbs; cases can be stacked up to 72” high. Carrying: items up to 30 lbs; trays of pizza dough (~12 lbs each) three at a time. Pushing/Pulling: dollies for trays, up to 7.5 lbs force. Climbing: occasional stairs or ladder, up to five flights during delivery. Bending: forward bending at the pizza assembly station (30–45 s at a time), front counter and stocking. Crouching/Squatting: occasionally to stock shelves or clean low areas. Reaching: up, down, forward; overhead up to 72”; near for the oven, sign, and shelf. Driving: deliver pizzas within the designated area, making several deliveries per shift.

MAINTENANCE OF EQUIPMENT AND WORK AID
