Job Schedule:
DayTimeThur01:00 PM - 09:00 PMFri11:00 PM - 07:00 AMSat11:00 PM - 07:00 AMWhat You'll Do:
- Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities.
- Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting concerns to the appropriate personnel.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location, including hallways, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter points, as working environments and conditions may vary by site.
- Monitor access points and help to deter unauthorized entry while assisting with visitor direction, staff support, and other security-related needs within the healthcare location.
- Observe and report unusual activity, potential hazards, and/or policy violations, and assist with de-escalation when appropriate in a professional manner.
Minimum Requirements:
- A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
- A minimum of 1 year of security-related experience is required.
- Proof of a high school diploma or GED is required.
- Applicants must be 21 years of age or older.
- The ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.
- Guard card is required.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
