Detail-Oriented Reconstruction Estimator for Insurance Claims

Reconstruction Estimator Location: East Stroudsburg, PA Position Overview Our Client is seeking a highly detail-oriented Reconstruction Estimator responsible for developing accurate repair and reconstruction estimates for insurance-related property damage projects, including fire, water, storm, and mold losses. This role requires strong proficiency in Xactimate, Symbility, and other estimating platforms commonly used by insurance carriers and restoration contractors. The ideal candidate will have the ability to develop accurate scopes of work, communicate effectively with adjusters and internal teams, and perform successfully in a fast-paced, high-volume environment. Key Responsibilities Inspect damaged residential and commercial properties Take measurements, photographs, and document existing site conditions Prepare detailed reconstruction estimates using Xactimate, Symbility, and other industry-standard estimating platforms Determine labor, material, and time requirements for repairs Develop comprehensive scopes of work including drywall, flooring, roofing, framing, and structural repairs Coordinate with insurance adjusters regarding pricing, scope approvals, and estimate revisions Prepare and manage estimate supplements, identifying missing or additional scope items as needed Support project transition from estimating into reconstruction and production phases Maintain accurate project documentation and estimate recordsCollaborate with internal teams to ensure project accuracy and timely completion Qualifications Strong experience in construction or restoration estimating Advanced proficiency in Xactimate, Symbility, and other insurance estimating platforms required Solid understanding of insurance claims processes and adjuster workflows Ability to accurately scope structural repairs and complex losses Strong communication skills with customers, adjusters, subcontractors, and internal teams TPA program experience strongly preferred Working knowledge of carrier guidelines and estimate review procedures High attention to detail with strong documentation accuracy Ability to thrive in a high-volume, fast-paced environment Strong organizational and time management skills Proficiency with Microsoft Office and cloud-based systems Ability to work independently while functioning within a centralized team structure Professional communication and collaboration skills Willingness and ability to travel to multiple job sites as required #J-18808-Ljbffr
