Sr. Mgr R2R Functional Analyst

Overview ERP Business Analyst – Record to Report (R2R) is responsible for successful delivery within each phase of the Collins Process & Systems Transformation program, which harmonizes key business processes, tools, metrics, and reporting across the company. The program uses SAP S/4HANA to enable the future ERP system, and the role supports blueprinting, build, testing, and cutover/hypercare. Responsibilities Blueprint – detailed design for processes, utilizing best practices and maximizing process harmonization opportunities; evaluate gaps and make scope decisions. Build – collaborate with an integrated team of external resources and internal team members in the configuration and development of system capabilities. Testing – support creation and execution of test scenarios and scripts; work with business leaders and testers to ensure proper functionality and defect resolution. Cutover & Hypercare – support migration from legacy systems to new environments; support go-live and ongoing financial and operational performance. Support end-to-end R2R process areas including General Ledger, Fixed Assets, Intercompany Accounting, Month-end/Year-end close, Banking, Treasury, Tax, Controlling, Profit/Cost centers, product costing, and project systems. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement solutions leveraging SAP S/4HANA, aligning with Collins operating model and industry best practices. Assist data mapping activities and testing with data teams and process teams; document common solutions, configuration documents, and data policies. Deliver functional specifications for forms, reports, enhancements, conversions, integrations, and workflows within scope of the workstream. Qualifications – Required Typically requires a university degree and minimum 7–10 years of relevant experience (advanced degree may apply). U.S. citizenship is required for access to information under the program/contract. Experience with SAP systems including configuration, data management, and reporting. Extensive finance acumen (10+ years) covering Finance Master Data, Allocations, FP&A, Financial Reporting, Tax, Treasury, G/L, Fixed Assets, Payroll, Period Close & Consolidation, Costing, and Project Accounting. 7+ years’ experience in SAP FI/CO configuration and implementation (G/L, Treasury, Banking, Asset Accounting, AR, AP, Tax integrations); experience with Intercompany Accounting, Profit Center, and Controlling modules. Qualifications – Preferred Program management skills to translate business needs into system requirements and process improvements. Experience on large, complex ERP/project initiatives; familiarity with agile approaches. Strong communication, collaboration, problem-solving, adaptability, and compliance mindset.
