Activity AssistantAn Activity Assistant assists with the implementation of the care community's activity program.Position Responsibilities of Activity Assistant:Must follow HCF Policy and ProceduresMust meet job related competencies as outlined in the Skills Competency ManualAssists in the organization and completion of all planned programsInterviews new residents and their families to determine interests and abilities, family history and backgroundAttend required in-service educationAssists with supervising and coordinating volunteersCommunicates effectively with residents, staff and visitorsAll other duties as assignedKnowledge, Skills and Abilities: A minimum of a grammar school education is essential.
