Location: Albuquerque, NM Schedule: On-Site Employment Type: Full-Time

LHH Recruitment Solutions is partnering with a well-established residential construction company in Albuquerque, NM to identify an experienced Accounting Supervisor. This is an excellent opportunity for an accounting professional who enjoys leading a small team, improving processes, and partnering closely with executive leadership to support the financial health of a growing organization.

Key Responsibilities

• Partner with the CFO to oversee daily accounting operations and supervise a small accounting team.
• Prepare, review, and present accurate financial statements, reports, and account reconciliations in accordance with GAAP.
• Review journal entries, accounts payable aging reports, and supporting accounting workpapers for accuracy and completeness.
• Assist with month-end and year-end close activities, compliance reporting, and annual audit preparation.
• Identify opportunities to improve efficiencies, strengthen internal controls, and streamline accounting processes.
• Develop and maintain reporting tools that support business decision-making.
• Support special projects and seasonal accounting initiatives as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Minimum of 7 years of progressive accounting experience.
• Prior experience leading or mentoring accounting staff.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills with a strong emphasis on financial reporting and analysis.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities.

Preferred Qualifications

• Cost accounting experience.
• Residential construction industry experience.
• Experience working with consolidated entities.

Pay Details: $70,000.00 to $85,000.00 per year
