Job Opportunity – Registered Nurse, Med/Surg Telemetry – Ohio

Start Date: September 25, 2026

Location: Ohio

Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants

Schedule: Night shift, three 12-hour shifts per week, 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM

Highlights:

• 18-week assignment to provide winter coverage (13-week contracts also considered)
• Med/Surg Telemetry unit requiring strong rhythm recognition skills
• ECG rhythm recognition test and safeMedicate assessment completed during orientation
• Extension opportunities available for up to 18 months with qualified candidates
• Comprehensive orientation with structured onboarding modules
• Hours tracked via Lotus timekeeping system

Requirements:

• Minimum 18 months recent Med/Surg Telemetry experience in a permanent position
• Active Ohio RN license or valid Compact state license in hand at time of submission
• Current BLS and ACLS certification (AHA or American Red Cross)
• Willingness to obtain NIHSS certification prior to start date
• One professional reference from a manager, assistant nurse manager, supervisor, or director from within the past 12 months
• COVID-19 and Flu vaccinations required (medical/religious exemptions only)
• Successful completion of ECG rhythm recognition and safeMedicate assessments during orientation
• Background check clearance with no open cases or license hits
• Completion of BCI/FBI fingerprinting within 48 hours of contract signing
