Autonomous Vehicle Support Specialist (English or Bilingual)

Role Provide real-time guidance and support to autonomous vehicles (AVs) in complex driving scenarios. Assist AVs in real time across multiple geographic locations, including Los Angeles, CA; San Francisco, CA; Phoenix, AZ; Austin, TX, and future sites. Responsibilities Guide AVs through challenging situations such as blocked streets, narrow lanes, and private driveways to ensure efficient and safe navigation. Collaborate with AVs to optimize driving paths, considering lane closures and traffic conditions. Monitor AV behavior and intervene when necessary to prioritize safety and avoid hazards. Maintain effective communication with AVs to ensure seamless cooperation and timely responses. Adapt to dynamic road conditions and rapidly address unexpected challenges. Analyze past performance and identify opportunities for improving AV technology. Ensure adherence to all relevant safety regulations and certifications. Key Requirements Strong focus on safety and attention to detail. Excellent problem‑solving and decision‑making skills. Ability to work effectively in a fast‑paced, ever‑changing environment. Strong customer service, de‑escalation, communication, and interpersonal skills with at least 2 years of experience. At least 3 years of driving experience on public roads. Adaptability to new technologies and processes. Ability to self‑correct and learn from previous mistakes. Maintain safety compliance certifications. Ability to stay focused and seated for multiple hours at a time. Ability to multitask in dynamic situations. Schedule flexibility to support a 24/7 operation, including holidays.
