We are looking for automotive technicians/mechanics who can work independently as well as collaboratively with peers. Our full-service facility aims to foster an environment of success! Responsibilities: As a Midas automotive technician, you will be responsible for performing a wide range of diagnostics, repairs, and maintenance, including: Diagnostics using state-of-the-art computer systems Tire and tire repair Car heating and air conditioning Steering and suspension Belts and hoses Radiator and engine cooling systems Batteries, starting, and charging Brakes and brake repair Oil changes Check engine light diagnostics Mufflers and exhaust services Visual safety and courtesy inspections Qualifications: Ability to repair vehicles independently and work well in a team environment Knowledge in automotive brakes, exhaust, suspension, & engine diagnostics Proven high personal productivity Knowledge of safety and environmental standards for repair facilities Experience with shop equipment such as lifts, tire changers, alignment machines, and scan tools High School Diploma or equivalent; technical degree is a plus State-specific auto repair certifications Valid driver’s license Own tools/equipment (diagnostic scanner/tools preferred) Ability to service both foreign and domestic vehicles #J-18808-Ljbffr Midas VINELAND
