Environmental Technology Instructor, Part-Time Position Title: Environmental Technology Instructor, Part-Time Position Type: Faculty Part Time Pool (up to 60%) Location: Main Campus, High School partners Responsibilities Teach courses as assigned during day or evening, weekday or weekend, or online. Demonstrate commitment to professional excellence and continuous growth in teaching. Perform other professional responsibilities and activities normally expected of community college faculty, per Board Policies and California Education Code. Ensure any degree from a foreign country is evaluated by an Evaluation Service prior to the closing date; provide certification and transcript copies. Minimum Qualifications Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent foreign degree) plus 2 years of related professional experience. OR Associate degree (or equivalent foreign degree) plus six years of related professional experience. OR Valid California Community College Credential authorizing service in the appropriate subject matter. Demonstrate sensitivity to and understanding of the diverse backgrounds of community college students. Preferred Qualifications Experience teaching environmental technology or related subjects. Experience with online instruction. License, Certificates, Credentials None specified. Additional Requirements Verification of identity and work authorization per I‑9. Fingerprinting via LiveScan (at applicant expense). Certificate of Tuberculosis Exam, renewed every 4 years. For positions requiring a valid California driver’s license, proof of insurability.
