The position will work closely with the Senior Accountants and Staff Accountants to ensure that all daily fiduciary duties are completed and reconciled. Responsibilities may also extend to provide support within the following functions: (1) Accounts Payable, (2) Accounts Receivable, (3) Premium Processing, (4) Mortgage Processing, (5) Reject Processing, and (6) General Accounting.Essential Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.Processes Mortgage ACD files and remittances when requiredProcesses incoming fiduciary premium payments within contractual SLAsReconciles and processes the daily reject batchesManages the corporate Accounts Payable process by coding, entering, and routing invoices for approvalManages the corporate Accounts Receivable process as well as collectionsProcess void checks and reissue requestsRecord cash receipts and manual checks as neededReview system generated refunds for accuracy before they are posted to the systemAssist in the monthly OFAC and/or OSFI processAid in the preparation of client auditsPrepare and enter journal entries when neededQualifications:Education and Experience:Four-year degree in Accounting or related Business degree with Accounting emphasis.0-2 years of relevant experience.Intermediate or advanced user of Excel.Proficient with Word and PowerPoint.Experience with Sage 100 a plus.Other Skills and Knowledge:Excellent communication skillsMust be a self-starter that can work independentlyAbility to manage and prioritize multiple tasks.Strong organizational and time management skillsMust be analytical in natureAbout driasiDirect Response Insurance Administrative Services, Inc.
