Benefits Dental insurance Health insurance Vision insurance Position Summary The Texas Family Clinic is an Internal Medicine and Pediatric outpatient clinic, looking for an experienced self‑motivated Medical Assistant with a professional and positive attitude. In this position, you will work under the direct supervision of a Physician to coordinate patient care. This is a full‑time position. Responsibilities Work in a fast‑paced environment with the ability to work well under pressure Accurately document clinical messages Room, take vitals for patients Administer vaccines Perform EKGs Perform receptionist duties such as filing, photocopying, transcribing and faxing Assist with referral and prior authorizations Qualifications Must be Medical Assistant Certified Demonstrates resourcefulness, independent thinking, and seeks additional challenges and opportunities on their own Clear communicator Must have excellent customer care skills Must be a team player Must be able to multi‑task Dependable Required Skills and Attributes Punctual Problem‑solver Takes Initiative Preferred Skills Bilingual (Spanish) preferred EPIC experience a huge plus Work Hours Monday through Thursday 7:00 AM – 5:00 PM; Friday 8:00 AM – 12:00 PM References Two references from prior supervisors are required for application. #J-18808-Ljbffr
