Vulnerability Engineer

Job Overview
Pay Range: $45hr - $50hr
Requirement/Must Have
- 10+ years of experience in IT Infrastructure.
- Experience with SAST, DAST, SCA tools (AppScan, Fortify, Checkmarx, Burp, Snyk).
- Experience with VM tools (Qualys, Tenable, Rapid7).
- Familiarity with ASPM/Aggregation tools (Vulcan, Brinqa, ArmorCode).
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Responsibilities
- Hands-on experience with SAST, DAST, SCA tools (AppScan, Fortify, Checkmarx, Burp, Snyk).
- Utilize VM tools (Qualys, Tenable, Rapid7).
- Interpret tool outputs and reduce false positives/duplicates.
- Analyze scan results (SAST/DAST/SCA).
- Classify vulnerabilities based on severity, exploitability, and business impact.
- Coordinate with Dev, DevOps, and Infra teams for vulnerability fixes.
- Assign and track remediation tickets across tools (JIRA/ServiceNow).
