HVAC Sales Technician

Summers Plumbing Heating & Cooling, based in Rochester, IN, has been a trusted provider of residential plumbing, heating, and air conditioning services since 1969. We are seeking a personable and motivated full-time HVAC Sales Technician to join our team. Responsibilities

• Engage with residential customers to assess their HVAC needs and recommend appropriate solutions
• Perform on-site assessments and basic service, troubleshooting, and repair of residential HVAC equipment as needed
• Clearly explain product options and benefits to customers in an accessible manner
• Process sales agreements and related paperwork accurately
• Coordinate job scheduling and payment with customers
• Generate and follow up on leads, both company-provided and self-generated, to drive business growth
• Participate in on-call rotation as required
• Maintain a professional appearance and represent the company positively at all times

Qualifications

• Understanding of residential HVAC system operation
• Ability to troubleshoot and communicate basic error codes
• At least 1 year of prior field experience in HVAC or a related field
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Goal-oriented, self-motivated, and able to build strong customer relationships
• Ability to explain technical information in clear, layman's terms
• Professional demeanor and positive attitude

Compensation

$70,000 – $125,000+ per year , with uncapped incentives and spiffs. Compensation is based on experience and performance.
