LIHTC Underwriter Associate

Assisting the Low-Income Housing Tax Credit (LIHTC) team, the full-time remote LIHTC Underwriter Associate will manage customer relationships, evaluate investment risks, and support the underwriting and closing of multifamily proprietary LIHTC investments. Key responsibilities Assist in managing syndicator relationships and communicate investment parameters while screening and negotiating letters of intent (LOIs) for LIHTC investments Identify and assess risks associated with potential proprietary LIHTC investments to ensure compliance with credit and regulatory guidelines Coordinate with internal and external teams to execute LOIs and support the underwriting and closing of multi-investor fund investments Required qualifications Up to two years of relevant experience underwriting LIHTC proprietary fund investments Bachelor's degree or equivalent Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, particularly Excel, Word, and PowerPoint Experience with equity or debt portfolio management software/systems (e.g., MRI, Salesforce, Yardi) is preferred Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and work collaboratively in a team environment
