IT Desktop Support Technician (Level 1, Summer Intern Project)

Our client is seeking an IT Desktop Support Technician (Level 1) to join their team for a summer intern project . This role offers hands-on experience supporting an enterprise-level IT environment, providing technical assistance directly to users, and contributing to critical IT operations. This is an onsite position based in New York, NY.

Starting at $22/hour.

IT Desktop Support Technician's Responsibilities and Duties:

• Image, deploy, and configure laptops, desktops, and other hardware
• Set up computers and peripherals for end users, ensuring proper functionality
• Provide first-line support in a "Genius Bar" style environment, assisting users with technical issues
• Troubleshoot hardware and software issues on Windows operating systems
• Manage user accounts and permissions within Microsoft Active Directory

IT Desktop Support Technician's Qualifications and Skills:

• At least 1-2 years of professional IT support experience
• Experience in an enterprise-level environment; financial services experience is a plus but not required
• Hands-on experience imaging, deploying, and supporting laptops/hardware
• Familiarity with Windows operating systems and Microsoft Active Directory
• Strong communication skills and a customer-service oriented personality
• Ability to work onsite 5 days per week
