Position Overview Personal Banker – PNC Retail Banking, Pensacola, Florida. A full‑time, in‑office role focused on building and enriching the branch customer base. Job Description • Acquire and deepen the branch customer base through proactive sales and service activities. • Manage the customer experience by identifying opportunities to improve financial wellbeing. • Collaborate with ecosystem partners and community influencers to grow customers’ share of wallet. • Drive proactive sales conversations through a defined process that includes outbound calling, service‑to‑sales, teller interactions, appointment setting, and lobby engagement. • Deliver a full PNC conversation with every client interaction to identify appropriate PNC solutions. • Leverage ecosystem partnerships and community centers of influence to acquire, expand and retain relationships. • Engage customers in the lobby, position PNC products, and educate them on managing financial transactions using technology. • Apply product and procedural knowledge to identify, mitigate and solve customer problems, driving loyalty. • Manage risk through adherence to all policies and procedures, demonstrating sound judgment and heightened scrutiny to avoid loss. • Participate in branch daily operations, ensuring efficiency and accuracy. Responsibilities Essential duties include providing excellent customer service, identifying cross‑sell opportunities, ensuring compliance, and maintaining a high level of customer engagement and satisfaction. Qualifications Associate’s degree or equivalent experience and product knowledge. Typically 3+ years of retail banking or related experience. Strong knowledge of customer‑centric banking practices. Accountability, client loyalty, and effective communications. Proactive sales and prospecting skills. Problem‑solving and managing multiple priorities. Digital awareness and leveraging technology. Understanding of customer needs. Ability to work in a matrix environment and manage risk. Education & Certifications No degree required if a comparable combination of education, certification, and experience is demonstrated. No required certification or license.
