Credit Analyst

Job Overview Park Bank is seeking a Credit Analyst to support local businesses and communities. The role is part of the Commercial Credit Underwriting team and focuses on evaluating creditworthiness of new and existing clients, preparing loan committee presentations, and ensuring complete credit files. Responsibilities Ability to work on a full‑time basis, Monday–Friday. Develop and present credit information for use by lending officers or committees in making lending decisions on new loans and loan renewals. Offer opinions and present facts regarding credit worthiness. Prepare and analyze financial statement spreads and other related financial documents. Create Loan Committee and Board presentations for loan approval. Monitor files to assure up‑to‑date financial statements, accounts receivable, and other items are available. Determine the need for more thorough investigation of additional information; contact appropriate sources for such information. Identify loan exceptions and areas to improve the completeness of credit and collateral files. Qualifications An educational background in business, with experience in finance or banking. Strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and a genuine interest in the economic factors affecting local markets. Ability to conduct thorough research to assess character, capacity, capital, collateral, and conditions related to loan requests.
