Operating

Room Registered Nurse for a contract assignment at a highly respected hospital in Georgia. This role is ideal for an OR nurse who thrives in a fast‑paced surgical environment and is committed to delivering safe, high‑quality perioperative care.

Job Function:

Shifts: 3x12 Days (36 hours)

Document all patient care accurately, completely, and promptly in the facility EMR

Prepare the

operating

room for procedures and

assist

with room turnover

Assist

with patient positioning and ensure comfort and safety throughout the procedure

Handle and label specimens according to policy

Maintain strict adherence to aseptic technique and infection‑control standards

Identify

and

initiate

corrective actions when necessary

Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesia providers, and OR staff to ensure efficient workflow

Job Requirements:

RN License: Must hold an active Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing, regulated by the Georgia Professional Nurse Practice Act.

Practice Standards: Must strictly implement and uphold the Scope of Practice and Code of Ethics Standards established by the American Nurses Association (ANA).

System Adherence: Responsible for upholding system-wide policies, procedures, and institutional service excellence goals while advocating for the voice of the patient.
