RN - Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit (CVICU)

ICU Registered Nurse (RN)

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled ICU Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team. This position is critical in providing high-quality care to patients in the cardiovascular intensive care unit.

Location: Plano, TX

Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to critically ill patients in the CVICU.
• Monitor patients' vital signs and report any significant changes to the medical team.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Educate patients and their families on health management and post-hospital care.
• Maintain detailed documentation of patient conditions and care provided.
• Participate in ongoing professional development and education.

Qualifications:

• Valid RN license in the state of Texas.
• Minimum of 1 year of clinical experience in an ICU setting, preferably in cardiovascular care.
• Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-stress environment.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications.

Schedule: This position requires working night shifts, from 7 PM to 7 AM.
